It is obvious that the majority of online users can’t stand annoying cookie consent pop-ups. This happens especially when you research something and have to browse multiple websites. Frustration grows even more when they don’t have “Reject cookies” option and won’t let you visit a website without clicking one of the non-rejectable options.
Ad blockers don’t work against cookie pop-ups and there are definitely some cookie blocker extensions. However, our browsers oftentimes already use many necessary extensions and you wouldn’t want to overwhelm them more.
Is it possible to get rid of cookie pop-ups without installing an extra plugin or extension? Is it actually a good practice to block cookies and wouldn’t it negatively affect your browsing experience?
It’s really annoying! I work with a lot of websites, and these cookie pop-ups slow me down. I often just click Accept all to get past them quickly. I’d also love to know if anyone has an easy way to fix this.
Cookie Pop-Ups, I hate you.
I looked for tips to block them, but every source says that it requires browser-specific tools or workarounds, which are often less user-friendly than simply installing a cookie-blocking extension.
However, it does not necessarily mean cookie Consent Pop-ups/Notices. I’ve tried to use Chrome with disabled/blocked cookies, but still see those pop-ups here and there. Settings are pretty much similar for Firefox and Edge
There is also ad blocker app AdGuard, which can help to solve this issue, but this feature is available for premium users.
